Corks Winebar and Eatery is supposedly the former site of The Buttery Restaurant, which was where a woman was accidentally murdered by her mentally ill brother. Many people claim to have seen her ghost in the basement, where she was buried. Today, the ghost is said to haunt Corks, and it is believed that she can only be calmed down by an exorcism.

Accidentally murdered by her insane brother. She was attempt to stop him from murdering her abusive husband. Pushed aside, through an open door and into the basement. Later she would be found dead, her neck broken.
The brother buried her in the basement.
Today she is seen on the basement stairs.
The sister is a vivid ghost, many of the witnesses recognizing her face.

Formerly The Buttery Restaurant, in 2009 Corks Restaurant & Wine bar opened it's doors with a full renovation. Over the last 10 years, the family run business has hosted many guests, events, and tourists from all over the world.
